Hey guys! Welcome to my blog where I'm going to write a whole bunch of posts about anything and everything beauty and makeup related! For anyone who doesn't know me I am in my third year of studying Theatrical and Media makeup, so I like to think that have a large knowledge of anything makeup related, and it's something I would love to share with everyone! As for today I'm going to be sharing my favourite beauty products at the moment.
So one of my all time favourite products is the Anastasia Beverley Hills Glow kit in 'That Glow'. This palette has become a staple in my everyday makes routine. The palette comes with four gold toned highlighters that are all so gorgeous! My favourite is the super gold shade 'Sunburst'. I love a super strong and in your face highlight and this does that! The brush I use to apply this is the Morphe M501 and it applies it beautifully. This palette is an absolute mush have!
As far as base products go I've been absolutely loving the NARS Sheer glow foundation. At first I absolutely hated this, and it sat in my draw for months without any use, but I then bought a beauty blender and it changed my life. This foundation applies beautifully with a beauty blender, it gives a good, even coverage and gives your skin a gorgeous glow, as you would expect from the name! I'm on my second bottle now, and I can't get enough of it! for concealer I've been loving the NYX HD studio concealer. I have this in the lightest shade, and I've been using it as an under eye concncear as its great for coverage and also highlights well.
My absolute favourite brand of Liquid Lipsticks are from Jeffree Star cosmetics. I have 14 in my collection and I plan on getting so many more! My absolute favourite shade at the moment is one of my newest ones, which is 'Doll Part's' This is such a pretty everyday pink shade, and I find it suits my skin tone really well! These are also super long wearing, aren't drying and so pigmented! (Swatches of this shade in image below)
Moving on to eye products! I've been loving the L'oreal super liner! I've been looking for a good eyeliner for so long now and i've gone through so many different ones trying to find the perfect one. This one is so easy to use, the applicator gives you a sure sharp line, and its super pigmented and long wearing! It's everything I've wanted in a liquid liner for so long!
My absolute favourite eyeshadow at the moment is from NYX. Its in the shade 'Copenhagen' and its a gold shade with a green undertone. Its so so so pretty and I've worn it pretty much everyday since I got it. Its looks gorgeous on its own, blended all over the lid, and also with a dark shade through the crease! I've worn it with burgundies browns, purples and it looks good with everything. I love love love it!
The final product I've been loving is a skin care product. Its the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil, and its amazing! I was told by the shop assistant to use two drops and to press it into the skin before you go to bed. I've been doing this every night since I got it and I noticed an instant difference in my skin. My skin looks brighter and healthier than its ever looked before. And you get so much for your money too! Definitely worth getting!
